Featured Products-Polyacrylamide(PAM)

Polyacrylamide is a linear high-molecular-weight polymer, primarily available in dry powder and gel forms. It can be categorized by average molecular weight into low molecular weight (<1 million), medium molecular weight (2–4 million), and high molecular weight (>7 million). Structurally, it is divided into non-ionic, anionic, and cationic types. The anionic type is often hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM). The backbone of polyacrylamide contains a large number of amide groups, which impart high chemical reactivity, allowing it to be modified to produce many polyacrylamide derivatives. The product is widely used in industries such as papermaking, mineral processing, oil extraction, metallurgy, building materials, and wastewater treatment. As a lubricant, suspending agent, clay stabilizer, enhanced oil recovery agent, fluid loss reducer, and thickener, polyacrylamide is extensively applied in drilling, acidization, fracturing, water shut-off, cementing, as well as secondary and tertiary oil recovery. It is an extremely important oilfield chemical.


      Product Features

Flocculation:​ PAM enables suspended solids to undergo flocculation via charge neutralization and adsorption bridging.

Adhesion:​ It provides adhesive effects through mechanical, physical, and chemical interactions.

Friction Reduction:​ PAM can effectively reduce fluid friction resistance. Adding a trace amount of PAM to water can lower resistance by 50–80%.

Thickening:​ PAM acts as a thickener under both neutral and acidic conditions. However, hydrolysis tends to occur when the pH exceeds 10, and thickening becomes more pronounced when a semi‑network structure forms.


     Packaging​

Dry powder products are packed in paper-plastic composite bags, with a standard weight of 750 kg per bag. Custom specifications are available upon request. The product has a shelf life of 2 years.

Aqueous solutions and emulsions are sealed in 25 kg or 200 kg plastic drums. Custom packaging options can also be provided as needed. The shelf life is 1–2 years.


     Precautions​

Powder products are prone to moisture absorption; ensure protection against dampness and humidity. They should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry warehouse.

Emulsions should be kept in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry warehouse under sealed conditions. Prevent the introduction of electrolyte substances, which may cause demulsification and affect performance.
